HARD TO GO WRONG (4) comes up from Sale with an excellent record at this track. Went back from the outside gate and never in contention when tenth over 1m at Moe. Gives the indication he will get the trip and can return to form with the 125lbs. FLASHY ICON (3) Canberra-trained stayer holding his form. Strong through the line with the 131lbs when a slashing second over 1m at Albury. Leading contender with the key jockey change. JIMMY MANOLO (5) win record hardly excites but gets his chance with the 125lbs. Chipped away late with the 134lbs when fourth over 1 5/16m at Orange. Value chance in a very average contest. PERUNO (6) up quickly in trip from the wide gate with a tiring eighth over 1 ¼m at Moruya. Visors come off and he gets the right run from the draw. BURGUNDY GIRL (2) keep fresh when improved to run third over 1 ¼m at Canberra. Fresh again and gets Brookes' 4lbs claim. Don't dismiss.
