Stalked the speed from the low draw when going under narrowly for a solid second over 7 ½f at Kembla Grange in a Super Maiden. Has a fitness edge over the bulk of these and should be able to get cover from the sticky draw. ROSE DIAMOND (12) returned without a trial when a game on-pace second over 6f at Nowra. Placed at this trip and shapes as one of the better hopes. ALAMAGAN (6) went back from the awkward gate on resumption when a plugging ninth over 6 ½f at Kembla Grange. Maps well and can run into the minor money. ARGANTORATI (8) chipped away late from the wide gate when respectable sixth over 5 ?f at Gundagai in a Super Maiden.
