COMMON TOUCH (7) gets the blinkers on for the first time today after a solid performance over the 7f at Pinjarra last time out. That was his first time out in trip and he improved nicely, with the rise to the mile looking a good move. Needs some luck from the draw but has the figures to get the job done. BONDI EXPRESS (4) is better than we saw last start when on the quick turnaround at Bunbury. His effort two back at Narrogin when leading turned in a strong figure and a return to that level can see him in the finish once again. SOUTHERN FIRETAIL (8) flew home last start when getting back in the run at Albany. He jumped favourite there for Pike, who remains in the saddle again today.
