LA EXCELLENCE (2) just missed fresh before a 2.2L defeat most recently at Belmont when dropping back in trip slightly. The rise to 7 ½f now looks ideal for him and judging on the figures he's run this time in work, a maiden win is just around the corner. Looks well placed and can land the knockout blow this time. MAXIMUS BON (3) creates plenty of interest coming across from Victoria where he's raced in some strong maiden's at Sandown and Kyneton. CJP hops in the saddle for his first run for the Bazeley stable and if he can run up to his recent figures here, he'll go close. THANK GOD (10) disappointed at Belmont last start when getting well back and failing to feature.
