ACQUIRED TASTE (9) won a trial and then didn't have the best of it at Bunbury on debut. Stepped up to this trip here following and ran into it strongly beaten a half-length. Maps well and she's ready to win. ARCTIC SNOW (6) raced well at Northam before the spell and presented first-up off an easy Lark Hill trial win. Wound up strongly in that to just miss over 6f at this track. Sure to derive benefit from the run and can fight out the finish if the inside barrier is managed. ELEGANT RULER (8) finished within range at Ascot on debut and first up settled a long way back there over 6f and did a good beaten 2L. Had been off the scene for more than a year and will strip fitter. The longer sprint is sure to suit. HIS XCELLENCE (5) resumes for the top stable with the gun hoop booked. has the blinkers on and is sure to be better than the trial finishes suggest. The betting will be key with him.
