Purton hops in the saddle now with a return to this track and trip where he jumped favourite two back. The inside draw is a big tick and he looks well placed to knock over his maiden. NORTHERN FIRE BALL (1) got a long way back last start and never featured over this track and trip. Back in grade today with Bowman taking the ride, this looks a targeted attack. Expecting him to sit closer today and can bounce back to winning ways. KING OBERON (2) is looking for the hat-trick following a 0.8L victory as a 20-1 chance. He's had a quiet trial since that effort and comes here on the rise. This shapes similarly today and he can continue his winning ways. BITS SUPERSTAR (7) is better than what we saw last start and can bounce back with McDonald on board.
