AVANTAGGIA (8) is a beautifully bred filly who resumed with a tough run for third as the favourite 4 weeks ago at Matamata. She cops a tough gate, but will continue to get better with racing, and with Opie Bosson keeping the ride, she is the one to beat. Follow your money. TO THE MAX (3) is a lightly tried 3YO gelding with plenty of talent. He resumes without a public trial, but from his good gate, he can't be taken lightly. Check the market moves. GENERAL MENARI (2) has been freshened up since a pair of third-place finishes earlier in the season. He likes some cut in the ground, and he has sound each-way claims again. HOT CARD (7) resumes from a spell that would have done her the world of good. She has not been to the trials, but her stable will have her ready to rumble. RED PEARL (10) is another promising type resuming from a spell. She cops a wide gate, but will have Michael McNab up to help offset that draw. Include in all top 4 combos to be safe.
