STARVIN MARVIN (1) settled in the leading division but couldn't finish the race off and could only manage seventh last start over 1 ¹/16m at this track, that effort coming after a solid fourth at this track the run before. Likely to get all the favours from this nice draw. Tackles a similar assignment and he can turn in a much better performance. APOLOGY ACCEPTED (5) drew wide last start and was easily accounted for, beaten 55 metres into 11th at this track over 1 ¹/16m. Meets a similar line up and from a far better starting position he is capable of taking this out. STONEBRIDGE STAR (4) is a great chance after a string of sound recent performances, the latest a solid fourth at this track over 1 5/16m. Hard to find fault. CALF PEN (3) should not have any excuses from the favourable draw. Each-way chance.

A race in which horses are entered for a certain price, or claiming tag, which is also their sales price. An owner can claim any horse entered for the tag before the race begins, and owns them as soon as the gates open.

Pari-Mutuel

Allowance Race

A race with non-claiming conditions set by the racing secretary. They are meant to be a step down from stakes racing.
