ITTAKESLUV (2) was responsible for a far better performance at her latest appearance when runner-up over 1 ¹/16m at Ararat, beaten 1.2 metres after giving away a big start with a sustained run. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Facing a tougher assignment but she is good enough to cope. VILLAGE VOICE (8) is in good form with top-five finishes at her last four starts, most recently recording a second over 1 ¹/16m at Ararat. Will enjoy a pretty soft run from this draw, with the sprint lane to play a big role. Has the class to trouble this line-up. TOPHUT JOHNY (6) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 9 metres at Kilmore over 1 m. HUNGRY HOGARTH (11) is next in line but might need a few good breaks from an awkward draw.
