ELUSIVE TREVOR (12) has been building nicely in this campaign, backing up a solid fifth two runs ago with a strong second at Jebel Ali over 1 ³/16m, beaten by under 2 lengths after travelling handy throughout. He is ideally placed here and looks ready to land a win. DECIDUOUS (5) was good here two starts back before finding the 1 ½m at Meydan a bit tough last time. This is a far easier assignment, and he is capable of bouncing straight back into the money. SHEPPERTON LODGE (6) disappointed as a well-supported runner over 1m at Jebel Ali last start, but his best form is more than good enough for this level. Worth another chance. KATHAB (2) has not won for a while but continues to race honestly, finishing fourth at Meydan over 1 ½m last start. He likes it here, and is another with top 4 claims in an open race.
