PROFESSIONAL LAD (1) was G3 placed in the spring, and after a freshen up that did him the world of good, he was far too strong as an odds-on favourite in a modest maiden field here 11 days ago, cruising home by nearly 5 lengths. He can take the next step immediately. KIWI MAGIC (11) peaked on his run late here 11 days ago over 1 ?m on a track that was heavier than he prefers. He will be a lot sharper for this, and he will give the top pick plenty to think about. Can win. QUEEN OF NAPLES (10) caught the eye with a big late finish for third here 3 weeks ago, and could be on her way back to the good form that she showed earlier in her career. She cops another wide gate, but can figure in the top 3 again. Stick with her. PURPLE PROSE (17) was a beaten favourite here last time out over 7f when settling too far back early on. He was doing his best work late that day, and will be spot on third up over a mile. Follow your money. VILLASANTI (6) was an overdue maiden winner last start.
