Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. ROUGH AND READY (7) showed plenty of fight to score last start over 1 ¼m here, getting home by just 0.8 metres. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running another big race. BLUE CHIP LOU (9) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 9 metres at Alexandra Park over 1 ?m. CAPTAIN KOBE (3) should not have any excuses from the favourable draw and looks one for the exotics players.
