Won in Highway grade two-back and goes well over this track and trip. Will take catching. LAMBAY (7) indicated a win was imminent when he loomed strongly for a narrow second over 6 ½f at Moruya. Claim helps and has the ability to mix it with them despite drawing out. LOS PADRES (3) never comfortable in the soft (7) going at his second run back with a tiring seventh over 6 ½f at Kembla Grange. Has his share of ability and gets a better set up for this. CHASING A QUID (8) sat on the fast tempo and gripped on late in a solid rating contest to secure second over 6 ½f at Canberra. Will go back from the gate and produce late. WHO BUT ROO (1) tough old gelding racing in career best form. No excuses from the barrier with the claim. Solid top-three prospect.
