Verdict

FIRE THE LOT (6) looks a nice gelding on the way up, finishing 0.8L off the winner last time out. Out to the mile now doesn't look an issue and he drops in weight today. Chris Parnham sticking is a good push for his chances and he looks poised to strike third-up into the campaign. SHAULA (7) is racing in top order, going under in a photo finish most recently at Bunbury when the race favourite. The wide draw is a niggle, but trust Fiore to get it right and if they can slot in from out wide, he'll take beating. SWEET SURRENDER (10) comes here first-up after showing good promise in her last campaign. This is short of her best trip, thought the mile first-up does look a good move on the back of a nice trial coming in. CJP rides and she's not to be discounted. ARMINO (5) creates interest coming across from Victoria and is not to be discounted. HENRY HAS SPOKEN (14) is not out of this on recent figures.
