Verdict

PATH TO GREATNESS (2) was a beaten favourite when resuming but he drew on the back row and worked so wasn't disgraced in finishing fourth. He was one of Queensland's best three-year-olds of last season and races well when second-up so expect improvement. EYETHINK (7) is a big query having joined Shawn Grimsey since last seen when fifth in a G1 at Melton in September 2023. Put together a string of wins before that and has been trialling strongly so looking for a good return. GREAT ACHIEVER (1) could be close to a win after placing in three of his last four starts, all from this mark. TARGARYEN (5) hasn't quite performed to market expectations at his last couple but recorded back-to-back placings prior so is capable of better.
