CHEER THE CAPTAIN (9) is back from a break of four months and looks to be right up to the mark following a recent trial win. May need luck at some stage extracting from the inside of the second row. Well-placed to take this out. MATAI HARRY (4) finished fifth last start over 1 ½m at Reefton, beaten 16 metres, after a good win at Patterson Park the run prior. Forgive that last effort. Good enough to put himself back in the winners' stall. EVANGALIST (3) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second at Reefton over 1 ½m. Genuine threat. DESTINY DANCE (5) will be cherry-ripe after three runs back from a spell, the latest effort a fifth at Richmond Park five days ago.
