Verdict

A tough race to end the quaddie. AVONVIEW (3) has been finding it hard to win but he's been racing in stronger and comes back 1 ½f on an 8-day return. He should enjoy a soft run from the inside gate and has a handy 4lbs claim. Gets his chance in an open race. MASTER POLANSKI (8) missed out last time against Avonview over 1 5/16m at Stony Creek after filling a minor placing the two before - including here over this trip. Has an awkward gate but with average luck can make the finish. WHISTLER GIRL (9) is a leader who won an Nhill before recording a narrow defeat over a mile at Camperdown. Draws an inside barrier and the others will have to do the chasing. FASHION FIGHTER (4) maps well and may be the best of the rest.
