BIALIATSKI (1) resumes, and his two race starts have been on the Ballarat synthetic. Impressed just missing on debut and then was heavily backed, with connections at a loss to explain the plain effort. He will be naturally improved and from an inside barrier he will be hard to beat. GALAGACISCO (3) over 5 ½f at Traralgon beaten just 1.2L. Maps well with Meech aboard and is well-placed to turn things around. BRAVE HERITAGE (2) debuts and he's placed in jumpouts at Bendigo and Kyneton. This isn't overly hard and he has to be kept safe. THEYCALLMETHUNDER (7) showed good dash first-up, missing by a head over 5 ½f at Bordertown Meeting a slightly tougher field, but he has more to offer and is likely to skip over and contest the lead. BLACK CHERRY (9) resumes for a new barn. May find this a bit short, but he has two jumpouts under the saddle and may be more forward this time around.
