LOYAL LOU (1) is a lightly-raced but progressive gelding who led from this draw in the heats here last time and was first over the line but lost on protest. That was his first outing for 24 days so it should have improved him. Can hold the lead and prove hard to catch. HEIDSIECK (3) was strong in taking out his heat here last week, scoring by 5.5 metres to continue a run of wins and placings. Drawn well so has strong claims again. FOR ALWAYS ARDEN (5) draws wider but is racing well having scored an easy win in the heats, getting home by 8 metres. FREEDOM ART (8) draws to trail the top pick early and her form this time in is hard to knock, recording two wins and a second from three outings.
