Verdict

GISSELLE (9) returns off a very good effort last time over a similar distance at Albion Park, finishing third and less than 2 metres from the winner. Tricky draw but recorded a win and a placing in her previous two outings at Newcastle so she is going well. UPSTREAM (4) has not raced for nine weeks but looks forward enough for the return after a minor placing in a recent trial. Came from a similar draw to score at Newcastle three back and has won when fresh before. WOT DYA RECKON (6) must be considered after good performances from back row draws, finishing runner-up at Newcastle a week ago and winning there three back. ULTIMATE EMPIRE (3) draws well and cannot be left out after solid recent performances, the latest a sound fourth at this venue.
