BAILS (3) is a promising mare in the Matt Dunn yard. Just missed on debut and then stepped up to 1 ?m at the Gold Coast and won her Maiden comfortably as expected. The extra 1f will hold no fears and she benefits from Newman's 3lbs claim. Maps well and can round out a successful day for the stable. BRAIN WAVE (4) just missed at Ballina as a firm favourite over 1 ³/16m. She likes to run along, and Mallyon is a positive jockey engagement. In good hands and should be right in it. PERRI LASS (7) brings strong provincial form over a mile and has placed at this course/trip. She's also going well enough to feature. AYASAKI (1) presents off a narrow defeat at Beaudesert over a staying trip. He led in that but is likely to take a sit today dropping back to a middle distance. This is harder, but he'll be around the mark.
