GOLD PUMA (3) has been narrowly beaten three times since her comfortable Maiden win. Draws well and drops plenty in grade from her 1L defeat at Ballina. Stretches out a bit in trip and will be tough to roll. NEXT PAY RUN (1) found Newcastle too hard but the form around that stacks up. Missed less than 1L from the speed at Grafton last time and this is much easier. HARRIET (7) found 1 ?m at the Gold Coast too much of an ask but she just missed this track trip prior. Sits down in the weights and can get some of the money today. VETOED (5) disappointed at Ballina last time but brought threatening form to that. Running out a strong 7 ¾f is the niggle.
