LORDGIVEMESTRENGTH (9) dropped back to the mile last start and stuck on gamely, beaten 0.9L at Albany. Her two runs prior were solid over a similar trip to this and she has enough tactical speed to offset the tricky gate. Looks the one to beat stepping back up in trip. AH KUM (3) is better than he showed last start where he faded in the straight at Pinjarra. He now gets Pike and should be fitter again for that performance. Maps to get every possible and he can return to winning ways. POLYVANOVA (1) can take up the running as she has done in recent efforts, getting run down at Albany last time out. The 9lbs claim comes in handy and she should be able to dictate the tempo. Will be tough to run down. PARC IT IN HERE (8) comes through a couple of handy form races at Albany and is not to be discounted. ANNA'S BOY (5) should appreciate stepping up in trip again here and won't be far away.
