BRASS MONKEYS (3) recorded a strong maiden win over 6f at Nowra last time, getting there with a fair bit in hand. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. MARITIME EXPRESS (1) ran below expectations last time at Goulburn over 1m, finishing fourth. Forgive the last run. In the mix. PERFECTLY GOOD (4) progressed nicely last time out to finish third at Albury. Will need some luck from the draw but deserves strong consideration. BOURBON QUEEN (7) is another last start maiden winner that deserves respect.
