World Cup Picks: Best Bets for World Cup Parlay on Thursday, Nov. 24 (Brazil and Portugal Dominate)

World Cup Picks: Best Bets for World Cup Parlay on Thursday, Nov. 24 (Brazil and Portugal Dominate)

Updated:

The World Cup is in full swing, especially thanks to a couple of monumental upsets. Saudi Arabia took down Argentina, 2-1, on Tuesday and Japan shocked the Germans, 2-1, in Group E action on Wednesday.

World Cup Group play includes four games every single day for the next week, and The Duel is here to help bettors get in on the action.

We've decided to make this a true four-game, four-leg parlay with the best bets from each Group Stage matchup on Thursday, Nov. 24. The four games in action are as follows:
- Switzerland vs Cameroon (5 a.m. ET)
- Uruguay vs South Korea (8 a.m. ET)
- Portugal vs Ghana (11 a.m. ET)
- Brazil vs Serbia (2 p.m. ET)

All of the soccer betting odds are provided from FanDuel Sportsbook.

Best World Cup Parlay on FanDuel - Nov. 24

Switzerland vs Cameroon Parlay - Leg One

Group G actions gets underway on Thursday with Switzerland taking on Cameroon. These two sides are fairly mismatched in terms of FIFA World rankings. Switzerland is considered the 13th-best team in the world while Cameroon ranks 43rd. Cameroon is a staunch defensive unit (allowing one goal in each of their last three contests). This game plays tight, but the Swiss pull off a victory. Take Switzerland ML (-140).

Uruguay vs South Korea Parlay - Leg Two

The second matchup on Thursday features Group H action and is also fairly one-sided. Uruguay owns top-10 odds to win the World Cup (+3800) while South Korea is ranked just No. 28 in the world. But, this is another clash where the defense shines. South Korea allowed just three goals in their 10 qualifying matchups, the least conceded by any team in the group. With a world-class striker Son Heung-min, who plays for Tottenham, in the fold, I like Korea to find the back of the net once. Take this game at a draw (+260).

Portugal vs Ghana - Leg Three

Portugal enters this matchup as a heavy -250 favorite and for good reasons. They are one of the best teams in this tournament, ranking No. 9 internationally and owning the ninth-best odds to win the tournament. Cristiano Ronaldo will not be distracted by his off-field drama with Manchester United and get past an easy opponent. Take Portugal ML (-250)

Brazil vs Serbia - Leg Four

The final leg in our parlay features the Brazil vs Serbia matchup. Brazil was not handed an easy group, but they look like a team on a mission. The No. 1 team in FIFA's World Rankings, Brazil comes at opposing teams with offensive firepower. Neymar has put together 12 goals and 10 assists in just 14 games of qualifying and the team was plus-35 in goal differential during that span. Serbia may be ranked No. 21 in the world, but they can't keep pace with Brazil's attack. Bet Brazil ML (-230)
