Who is Playing in the MLB Playoffs Today? ALDS/NLDS Games, TV Schedule & Start Times for Friday, Oct. 14

The 2022 MLB postseason continues on Friday with several teams suiting up. Baseball fans are gearing up for a busy day of playoff action, which includes a pair of Game 3's that could end up being the turning point in deciding those series.

Here's everything you need to know about the MLB postseason schedule for Friday, Oct. 14.

ALDS Games Today (10/14/22)

There is just one ALDS game scheduled for Friday, as the Cleveland Guardians and New York Yankees will play Game 2 of their series. This contest was originally slated for Thursday, but it was postponed due to rain.

These teams will square off at 1:07 p.m. ET on TBS. Shane Bieber is starting on the mound for Cleveland, while Nestor Cortes hopes to earn the win and get New York a 2-0 series lead after the Yankees won 4-1 on Tuesday. FanDuel Sportsbook's MLB odds peg NY as a -162 favorite to beat the Guardians (+136).

NLDS Games Today (10/14/22)

All four NLDS teams will be in action on Friday. The Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies kick things off at 4:37 p.m. ET on FS1. This series is tied at one game apiece after the Phillies won 7-6 in Game 1 and the Braves responded with a 3-0 win on Wednesday. Atlanta is set to start rookie Spencer Strider, while Aaron will be on the mound for Philly in its first home game.

Then the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres cap things off at 8:37 p.m. ET on FS1. This series is also tied 1-1, as the Dodgers took home Game 1 but the Padres rallied in Game 2. Tony Gonsolin will look to get the road win for LA, while Blake Snell earns the starting nod for San Diego.
