The 2021 MLB All-Star Game will take place in just a few weeks on Tuesday, July 13 at Coors Field in Denver, Colo. The All-Star Game ballots opened up early in June with fans voting to see some of their favorite players make the rosters for the 91st Midsummer Classic between the AL and NL All-Stars.

Voting for the 2021 MLB All-Star Game opened up on Thursday, June 3. Fans were given an opportunity for vote for the starting position players for both the AL and NL teams, while the remaining roster spots were decided through a combination of player choices and selections by the Commissioner’s Office.

Who are the Voting Leaders for the 2021 MLB All-Star Game?

Through the first phase of MLB All-Star Game voting, these five players led all MLB players across both leagues and each position.

1. Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Toronto Blue Jays: 2,704,788 votes
2. Ronald Acuna Jr., Atlanta Braves: 2,510,041 votes
3. Salvador Perez, Kansas City Royals: 2,150,968 votes
4. Mike Trout, Los Angeles Angels: 2,084,542 votes

2021 MLB All-Star Vote Leaders and Finalists

Throughout the fan voting, the league will release several updates on the All-Star Game voting leaders. The first phase of voting takes place until Thursday, June 24. After that, the top three vote-getters at each position (and top nine outfielders) in each league will advance to a second phase voted on from Monday, June 28 through Thursday, July 1. This final phase will finalize the starters from each league.
