Golden State Warriors fans already witnessed their favorite team struggle to stay afloat without Stephen Curry when he missed time earlier this season with a left shoulder subluxation. They will have to go through the same situation once again as the nine-time All-Star has suffered a leg injury.

Latest Stephen Curry Injury Update

Curry went down with during the third quarter of Golden State's game against the Dallas Mavericks on Feb. 4. The 34-year-old seemingly banged knees with McKinley Wright IV while defending a drive to the rim. It has since been announced that he has suffered moderate ligament damage in his leg.

Curry is expected to miss at least a month of action after being diagnosed with partial tears to his superior tibiofibular ligament and interosseous membrane in his left leg. His absence could last even longer, though, as the Warriors will only be able to re-evaluate their star once the swelling goes down.

This is obviously a big blow to Golden State's chances of making it to the postseason. The Warriors currently sit 2.5 games out of third place in the West, but they also sit only 1.5 games up from the final play-in spot. Any string of losses could obviously cause the outlook to change dramatically.

Curry exits having averaged 29.4 points, 6.4 assists and 6.3 rebounds across 38 games played this season. Keep an eye out on more updates set to be released in the coming weeks. For now, Golden State has odds set at +1200 to win the NBA Finals, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA odds.
