In terms of bye weeks, this isn't necessarily a bad placement for Kansas City. This gives the Chiefs 11 games to start the 2021 season. In fact, the Chiefs do have a tough schedule that was recently ranked as the 8th-most difficult in the league.

That strength of schedule features seven games against 2020 playoff teams. However, the Chiefs will rest up during the Thanksgiving holiday and get back to work with six games to close out 2021. Of those final six games, only one features a 2020 playoff team.
