As the second week of NFL Training Camp rolls on, teams must start preparing for their first taste of live in-game action. That league's annual preseason calendar kicks off with the Hall of Fame Game taking place in Canton, OH.

What is the NFL Hall of Fame Game?

The league kicks off its annual preseason schedule in the first week of August, a full week prior to any regularly scheduled preseason contests. This single game is the official start to the Hall of Fame "enshrinement festivities", played at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton. Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium has hosted the event since 1962.

Following the contest, the eight members of the 2022 Pro Football Hall of Fame class will be enshrined forever into football immortality. The enshrinement ceremony takes place on Saturday, Aug. 6 at noon ET.

Who is Playing in the 2022 Hall of Fame Game?

This year's Hall of Fame Game features the Jacksonville Jaguars and Las Vegas Raiders. According to the Pro Football Hall of Fame website, this will be the Raiders' fourth appearance in the annual kick-off event, and Jacksonville's second.

The 2022 Hall of Fame Game takes place on Thursday, Aug. 4, from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, OH. The game has a kickoff time set for 8 p.m. ET, and fans can view the action live on NBC.
