Week 16 of the 2022 NFL season wraps up with an AFC showdown between the Los Angeles Chargers and Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football. The Chargers are looking to clinch a playoff berth with a road win over the lowly Colts, who are listed as 3.5-point home underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.

If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's our start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 16 Monday Night Football matchup.

Los Angeles Chargers D/ST Fantasy

Start Los Angeles Chargers D/ST: The Chargers' defense hasn't been a quality fantasy option for much of the season, but that's begun to change recently. Los Angeles has allowed fewer than 20 points and 300 total yards in each of its last two games and has a chance for another strong performance in Week 16. Not only do the Colts rank 30th in scoring and 24th in total yards, but they're also starting backup QB Nick Foles this week. Foles has yet to attempt a pass for Indianapolis this season and has started only one game since the beginning of 2021, so he might be a bit rusty. The Chargers' defense should feast here.

Michael Pittman Fantasy

Start Michael Pittman, WR, Indianapolis Colts: Pittman's been the Colts' top wide receiver all season and even got involved in the run game last week, taking a pair of carries for 30 yards. He's only seen 10 rushing attempts in his three-year career, so it remains to be seen if Indy will use him in a similar hybrid capacity this week. Regardless, he should still be extremely busy in the passing game after drawing double-digit targets in two of his last three games. Indianapolis will likely be playing from behind and throwing a lot as well, which should result in more volume for Pittman.

Josh Palmer Fantasy

Sit Josh Palmer, WR, Los Angeles Chargers: Palmer has returned to being a middling fantasy option since Keenan Allen came back from injury. He's exceeded 60 receiving yards only three times in 13 games this season and doesn't have much touchdown upside either with just 3 TDs. Palmer has seen just 11 targets over the past two weeks combined and simply has too much competition for targets with Allen, Mike Williams, Gerald Everett and Austin Ekeler. He still has a relatively stable floor, but his ceiling is underwhelming.

Zack Moss Fantasy

Sit Zack Moss, RB, Indianapolis Colts: Moss stepped up in Jonathan Taylor's absence last week, rushing 24 times for 81 yards against the Minnesota Vikings. He was hardly involved in the passing game, however, with only 1 target. He also wasn't very efficient with his carries, averaging just 3.3 yards per tote. Moss wasn't efficient during his time with the Buffalo Bills, either, so that wasn't too surprising. He'll likely split carries with Deon Jackson and may see his opportunities suppressed by the game script as well, so stay away from Moss here.
