Week 15 Monday Night Football Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Rams vs Packers

Updated:

Week 15 of the 2022 NFL season concludes with an intriguing matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. Both teams have been underwhelming this year, but FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds list the Packers as 7.5-point home favorites over the Rams.

If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's our start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 15 Monday Night Football matchup.

Christian Watson Fantasy

Start Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers: Forget his slow start: Watson has become a must-start every week. The rookie wideout has earned Aaron Rodgers' trust and it's paying huge dividends, producing 7 touchdown receptions for Watson as well as a rushing TD over his last four games. Watson has flashed incredible big-play ability during that time as well, topping 100 receiving yards twice and averaging a whopping 20,9 yards per catch. With at least 6 targets in four straight games, the 23-year-old has emerged as a reliable fantasy option with massive upside.

Van Jefferson Fantasy

Start Van Jefferson, WR, Los Angeles Rams: Jefferson isn't a sexy fantasy play by any means, but he's an effective one. He's stepped up to lead LA's receiving corps over the last few weeks in Cooper Kupp's absence, hauling in 13-of-22 targets for 180 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns in his last five games combined. The volume still leaves something to be desired, but his penchant for big plays and finding the end zone makes him a viable WR3/4 or FLEX play depending on the format. He also torched the Packers for 93 yards and a touchdown in his lone career game against them.

Robert Tonyan Fantasy

Sit Robert Tonyan, TE, Green Bay Packers: There was hope that Tonyan would pick up some of the slack this year with Davante Adams gone, but that hasn't happened for Green Bay. Tonyan has been a middling fantasy option all season long, scoring just 1 touchdown and topping 40 receiving yards only once. His numbers have only gotten worse in recent weeks as Watson has taken off, resulting in four straight games with 20 receiving yards or fewer for Tonyan. Stay away from the Packers' tight end here.

Tyler Higbee Fantasy

Sit Tyler Higbee, TE, Los Angeles Rams: Higbee was a quality fantasy option earlier in the year, but his value has fallen off a cliff since Matthew Stafford went on the IR. Over his last three combined games, Higbee has caught just 4-of-8 targets for 25 yards. That's not going to cut it from a fantasy standpoint, especially with many leagues now in the postseason. Betting on a rebound from Hibee is just too risky at this point in the season.
