Week 13 Thursday Night Football Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Bills vs Patriots (Ride Rhamondre Stevenson)

Updated:

Week 13 of the 2022 NFL season gets underway with an AFC East showdown on Thursday Night Football between the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots. The betting markets are expecting a close game with the Bills favored by 3.5 points in Foxborough on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.

If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's our start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 13 Thursday Night Football matchup.

Rhamondre Stevenson Fantasy

Start Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, New England Patriots: Rhamondre Stevenson has emerged as the focal point of New England's offense in his second season, averaging an impressive 94.5 scrimmage yards per game. An incredible pass-catching back who also runs the ball well, he's essentially the Patriots' version of Austin Ekeler. Stevenson racked up 112 total yards on 16 touches last week and is poised for another massive workload this week with fellow running back Damien Harris (thigh) ruled out. Even in a tough matchup against Buffalo's defense, Stevenson is a borderline RB1 this week.

Gabriel Davis Fantasy

Start Gabriel Davis, WR, New England Patriots: Gabriel Davis has been frustrating from a fantasy standpoint due to his boom-or-bust production, which has brought more lows than highs over the last month. That said, it's not time to give up on Davis just yet. The Patriots will likely take a similar defensive approach to the one they used against Justin Jefferson last week, which freed up Adam Thielen for one of his best games of the season (61-9-1). With New England keying in on Stefon Diggs this week, Davis could find room to break loose and score a touchdown against the Pats for a third straight game.

Mac Jones Fantasy

Sit Mac Jones, QB, New England Patriots: Mac Jones has started to pick it up over the last several weeks and is coming off his best game of the year after torching the Minnesota Vikings for 382 passing yards and 2 touchdowns on Thanksgiving. Don't expect a repeat performance this week, however, as Buffalo boasts one of the best defenses in the league. The Bills rank second in the NFL with 13 interceptions, which is concerning for Jones based on his 6:7 TD/INT ratio this year. He's also struggled against Buffalo in the past, averaging just 132 passing yards with twice as many interceptions (4) as touchdown passes (2) in three career games against them. Treat Jones as a QB2 this week and seek alternatives with more upside.

Dawson Knox Fantasy

Sit Dawson Knox, TE, Buffalo Bills: It's been a disappointing season for Dawson Knox and his fantasy managers. In addition to averaging a career-low 9.9 yards per catch, he's only hauled in 2 touchdowns so far after snagging 9 TD catches last year. He's become more of an afterthought in Buffalo's offense with the emergence of Davis and has seen his production fluctuate wildly from week to week. Considering that he only saw 2 targets against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving and hasn't found the end zone since Week 8, he can be faded this week.
