The 2022-23 NBA season has another slate of action-packed games planned for Tuesday, Oct. 25. One matchup worth watching is a showdown between the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns. The Warriors have a bit of momentum on their side after following up their first loss of the year with a 130-125 win against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Suns also feel good about themselves after scoring a 112-95 win against the LA Clippers over the weekend. It was all Devin Booker for Phoenix as the talented sharpshooter finished with a game-high 35 points, which involved going 5-of-9 from three-point range.

Warriors vs Suns Prediction & Pick

The Warriors and Suns are expected to be two of the NBA's best teams this season, so fans should expect a close matchup. After all, that's exactly what happened last season as the two sides split their four-game series with two wins apiece.

So far this year, the Warriors are back to their high-scoring ways. They lead the league with 125.3 points per game, however, they're about to run into a Suns defense that only surrenders 104.3 PPG (third-best) while limiting opponents to only 11.0 three-pointers made per game (T-No. 9).

Golden State has also lost three of its last four trips to Footprint Center. Phoenix's defense is just on another level when it's the home team. Furthermore, the Suns have held Stephen Curry to just 23.0 PPG on .353/.314/.889 in his last four road games against them, which is well below his normal performances.

With the home crowd's support and a defense as sharp as ever, I'm backing the Suns to win this one.

Final Score Prediction: Suns: 113 | Warriors: 106

Warriors vs Suns Betting Trends

- Golden State is 10-5 against the spread (ATS) in its last 15 games.
- Phoenix is 5-1 straight up in its last six home games.
- The total has hit the under in six of Golden State's last seven road games against Phoenix.
- The total has hit the under in six of Phoenix's last eight games.

Warriors vs Suns Best Bet

Despite the offensive talent on both teams, the Warriors and Suns typically engage in games that are lower-scoring than usual. They've combined for the under in 11 of their 13 last meetings and saw an average total of 211.8 points last season, never surpassing 226 in a single game.

With the Warriors and Suns have similar rosters compared to last year, I'm taking the under again.

Bet: Under 226 (-110)
