The Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs meet head-to-head in Summer League action on Sunday night. Golden State is searching for its first win after dropping an opening game to the New York Knicks by a score of 101-88. Moses Moody was the bright spot with 34 points and 5 rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Spurs couldn't get to the free throw line against the Cleveland Cavaliers and it ended in a 99-90 defeat. Second-year pro Joshua Primo and rookie Blake Wesley posted a combined 40 points on 14-for-26 shooting. 2022 first-round pick Malaki Branham also poured in 15 points and 3 rebounds.

Warriors vs Spurs Prediction & Pick

The Warriors will get a boost on Sunday as 2020 No. 2 overall pick James Wiseman suits up for the first time since undergoing meniscus surgery. Adding him into a lineup that already feeds off of physicality should only earn Golden State more trips to the free throw line (21-for-30 on Friday).

San Antonio is simply searching for improvement moving forward with hopes that Primo, Wesley and Branham can lock down bench spots. Outside of that trio, the Spurs shot only 41.4% from the floor and 27.3% from beyond the arc in their opening game. That is not going to get the job done here.

Trust a more experienced Warriors roster to cover the -4.5 spread (-105).
