The Golden State Warriors (26-26) look to improve their dominance at Chase Center as they welcome the shorthanded Dallas Mavericks (28-25) at 8:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 4.

Tonight is the Warriors' first home game after going 1-2 on a three-game road trip, most recently falling 134-117 to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday. Meanwhile, the Mavericks improved to 3-1 in their last four games with a 111-106 win over the New Orleans Pelicans two nights ago.

Can the Warriors figure out a way to win in their return home? Or will the Mavericks pull off the road upset?

  • The Mavericks did not lose ATS (1-0) as underdogs of 9 points or more last season.

Warriors vs. Mavericks Prediction & Pick

The Mavericks are playing tonight with a lineup ravaged by injuries. Christian Wood (thumb), Davis Bertans (calf) and Maxi Kleber (hamstring) have all been ruled out, however, the biggest name that will be absent is leading-scorer Luka Doncic (heel).

For reference, the Mavs are 0-6 this season when Doncic doesn't play, losing those games by an average of 12.5 points. Now, they have to take on the Warriors, who average the second-most points in the league (118.0 PPG) and own a plus-6.3 scoring margin at Chase Center.

Without Doncic and other key players, the Mavericks don't have what it takes to keep up with the likes of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and the rest of the Warriors. Expect Steve Kerr's team to pick up its 20th home win of the season tonight.

Final Score Prediction: Warriors: 122 | Mavericks: 108

Warriors vs. Mavericks Best Bet

The Mavericks' inability to keep games close when Doncic is injured has me siding with the Warriors to cover the 10-point spread. In addition to lopsided losses without their star player, the Mavericks are also 4-12-1 ATS in their last 17 games and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road outings.

Meanwhile, the Warriors have a solid 15-9-1 ATS record at Chase Center this season and have covered the spread in four of their last five home games against the Mavs.

As long as the Warriors' best players show up, winning by double digits is a real possibility.

Bet: Warriors -10 (-110)
