The Los Angeles Lakers (25-31) look to end their losing streak when they visit the Golden State Warriors (28-27) at 8:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 11.

The Lakers are winless in their last three contests, most recently losing 115-106 to the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday. Meanwhile, the Warriors also tasted defeat in their last outing, picking up a 125-122 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers earlier this week.

Can the Lakers avoid their third losing streak of at least four games this season? Or will the Warriors be too much to handle in front of a raucous Chase Center crowd?

  • The Lakers' ATS record as underdogs of 2.5 points or greater was 18-18 last season.
  • The Warriors and their opponents combined to go over the point total 34 out of 82 times last season.
  • Out of 82 Lakers games last year, 47 went over the total.

Warriors vs. Lakers Prediction & Pick

The Warriors have had more recent success than the Lakers, but they'll also be shorthanded tonight. Stephen Curry (leg), Andre Iguodala (hip) and Gary Payton II (core) have all been ruled out with Curry's absence being the biggest blow. After all, Golden State is just 18-26 in the last 44 games without Curry dating back to 2021.

The Lakers will be given a boost as new acquisitions D'Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt are expected to make their debuts. LeBron James is dealing with an ankle injury, but he'll likely suit up to get his team back on track. "The King" is averaging 33.8 points and 12.4 rebounds while shooting 41.3% from three in his last five games against the Dubs.

As great as the Warriors have been at Chase Center this season, the Lakers are hungry and have the more competitive lineup at the moment. It'll be close, but I'm siding with Los Angeles on this one.

Final Score Prediction: Lakers: 127 | Warriors: 120

Warriors vs. Lakers Best Bet

When it comes to the best bet, I have my eye on the total going over 238.5 points. After all, the over is 12-6 in the Lakers' last 18 road games, as well as 6-1 in the Warriors' last seven overall. On top of that, the average total of Los Angeles' last three games is 247 points while Golden State has seen an average of 246.3 in its last four.

Considering how the total has also gone over in each of the last five Warriors-Lakers matchups, I anticipate

Bet: Over 238.5 Points (-110)
