Thursday, March 2's NBA schedule includes a west coast tilt between the Golden State Warriors (32-30) and LA Clippers (33-31).

The Warriors extended their winning streak to three games in a row with Tuesday's 123-105 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers. Meanwhile, the Clippers have been heading in the opposite direction, tallying their third consecutive loss with a 108-101 defeat at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Can the Warriors push their winning streak to four games? Or is it finally time for the Clippers to taste victory?

Warriors vs. Clippers Prediction & Pick

Although momentum is on the Warriors' side, they're going to have a tough time extending their streak with a shorthanded lineup. Stephen Curry (lower leg), Andrew Wiggins (personal) and Andre Iguodala (hip) are all ruled out for tonight's contest. Jordan Poole (knee) is probable, but it's also possible he won't be at 100%.

Considering that the Clippers are injury-free, there's no excuse for them to lose tonight. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard must take advantage of Golden State's lack of star power. The duo has been playing well lately, though. Leonard is averaging 27.0 PTS/6.1 REB/4.1 AST with a 53.2 three-point percentage in his last nine games while George is tallying 24.2 PTS/6.2 REB/4.5 AST in his last 10.

After the Clippers notched a 134-124 win over the Warriors less than a month ago, I see LA having more success against its Pacific Division rival tonight.

Final Score Prediction: Clippers: 118 | Warriors: 115

Warriors vs. Clippers Best Bet

Even though I'm siding with the Clippers, I can see the Warriors keeping things closer than expected. After all, the Clippers are an unimpressive 2-6 ATS in their last eight games and have failed to cover the spread in six of their last seven games played in March. Missing Curry, Wiggins and Iguodala won't make it easier to halt that trend.

On the other side, the Warriors are 3-0 ATS during their winning streak and are also 20-11-1 ATS at Chase Center this season. With LA having not won in the Bay Area since January 2021, it's wise not to count Golden State out on the spread in this matchup.

Bet: Warriors +3.5 (-108)
