One full month after the Golden State Warriors were crowned 2021-22 champions, the NBA world's attention turned towards Summer League action. With a chance to witness 2022 draft picks, second-year pros, and G League players taking advantage of an opportunity to display their skills, it's an important event on the annual basketball calendar.

Golden State Warriors Summer League

The Warriors are riding high after securing their fourth NBA Championship since 2015, led by a Finals MVP performance from none other than Stephen Curry. Even though Golden State is expected to be a contender once again next year, it's also important to have more depth going forward.

The Warriors haven't been too busy this offseason, with defensive guard Donte DiVincenzo's two-year, $9.3 million contract being the biggest addition. The Dubs used their three 2022 draft picks on Patrick Baldwin Jr., Ryan Rollins and Gui Santos, who are all a part of the organization's Summer League roster.

Let's take a look at everything Golden State Warriors-related as Summer League action got underway on Thursday, July 7.

Must-Watch Warriors Summer League Rookies

Naturally, Warriors fans are keeping an eye on how 2022 first-round pick Patrick Baldwin Jr. is performing. There's a lot of hype around the 30th overall selection after recording 12.1 points and 5.8 rebounds as a freshman with the Milwaukee Panthers this past season.

There's also decent hype around fellow rookie Ryan Rollins, who could use some more development before he's NBA-ready. Still, the Macomb, MI native showed potential with the Toledo Rockets last year, averaging 18.9 points, which ranked fourth-best in the MAC.
