Warriors vs Celtics Game 4 Info

2021-22 NBA Playoffs — NBA Finals Game 4 (BOS Leads 2-1)
Golden State Warriors (53-29, 31-10 Home) vs. Boston Celtics (51-31, 23-18 Away)
Date: Friday, June 10, 2022
Time: 9 p.m. ET
Venue: TD Garden — Boston, MA
Coverage: ABC

After the Golden State Warriors tied up the series earlier this week, the Boston Celtics regained control of the NBA Finals with a 116-100 victory Wednesday night. Although things wavered in the third quarter yet again, the Celtics outscored the Warriors in the first and fourth quarters by 23 points, which helped them secure the victory.

The Celtics now look to become the first team in this series to win consecutive games. It's going to be tough because the Warriors have yet to lose back-to-back contests since March. With a commanding 3-1 series on the line, it'll be interesting to see if Boston can come out strong on Friday.

Warriors vs Celtics Odds & Spread

All NBA betting lines, odds and prop bets are available on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Moneyline: GSW: (+140) | BOS: (-166)
Spread: GSW: +4 (-112) | BOS: -4 (-108)
Total: 214.5 — Over: (-110) | Under: (-110)
Odds to Win NBA Finals: GSW: (+185) | BOS: (-230)

The odds haven't changed all that much since Game 3. The Celtics are 4-point favorites as opposed to 3.5 on Wednesday. The biggest change happens to be the odds to win the NBA Finals. Boston improved from -105 to -230; Golden State fell from -115 to +185.

NBA Finals MVP Odds 2022

All NBA Finals MVP odds are available on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Jayson Tatum (+120)
Stephen Curry (+190)
Jaylen Brown (+300)
Marcus Smart (+3300)
Derrick White (+5000)
Al Horford (+5500)
Klay Thompson (+12000)
Andrew Wiggins (+12000)
Draymond Green (+16000)
- Jordan Poole (+30000)

Jayson Tatum has now taken over as the new NBA Finals MVP favorite. He's recorded 26-plus points in back-to-back outings. He's now averaging 22.0 PPG this series, trailing only Jaylen Brown (22.7) on the Celtics while also leading his team in rebounds (8.3).

Even though Tatum is the favorite, it's important to point out that Stephen Curry is right behind him in the odds race. The 34-year-old is averaging a series-high 31.3 PPG and is the primary reason why the Warriors have kept it as close as it has been. Assuming he keeps up his play, Curry should be in the running as long as Golden State has a shot at winning the series.

Warriors vs Celtics Prediction & Pick

All NBA win probability predictions and picks are according to numberFire.
Prediction: Boston Celtics win (63.8%)

Once again, numberFire is favoring the Celtics to walk away as the victors in Game 4. The site predicted Boston to win at 63.7% in Game 3, so it's easy to see why they'd go with a similar percentage again.

I'm also predicting that the Celtics will take the 3-1 series lead on Friday. As great as the Warriors can be, the Celtics look like the all-around better team and have the depth to back things up. Aside from Curry, the rest of Golden State's players have been inconsistent at best, which will catch up with them sooner than later.

Final Score Prediction: Warriors: 107 | Celtics: 118

Warriors vs Celtics Betting Trends

- Golden State is 1-6 against the spread (ATS) in its last seven road games.
- Boston is 4-1-1 ATS in its last six home games against Golden State.
- Golden State is 2-5 straight up in its last seven games played in June.
- Boston is 8-2 straight up in its last 10 games against Golden State.
- The total has hit the under in 12 of Golden State's last 16 games against Boston.
- The total has hit the over in four of Boston's last five games played on Friday.

One of the more prominent trends is the fact that the Celtics have owned the Warriors recently. Eight wins in their last 10 meetings is nothing to scoff at, nor is the fact that Boston has dominated on the spread as well. All trends point to the Celtics continuing their success against the Warriors.

Warriors vs Celtics Best Bet

All NBA betting lines, odds and prop bets are available on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Whenever the Celtics win lately, it's usually by a large total. Seven of Boston's last eight victories have been double-digit differentials, including both of its wins over Golden State in the 2021-22 NBA Finals. With the Warriors having issues getting all of their players going at once, it should be another decisive win for the Celtics at TD Garden.

Bet: Celtics Win Marging – 11+ Points (+240)
