Von Miller Thanksgiving Day Injury is Huge Concern for Bills

Updated:

The close score wasn't the only worrying part of the first half of the Thanksgiving Day game against the Detroit Lions for Buffalo Bills fans.

Worse than only holding a 3-point halftime lead against a sub-.500 opponent is what happened to Von Miller. Miller exited with a knee injury late in the first half, and the Bills almost immediately announced that it was a knee injury and ruled him out for the remainder of the game.

We'll probably have to wait at least a couple days for news around the exact nature and severity of the injury, but knee injuries are always a concern and you never like to see someone ruled out quickly after going down.

Miller has been a phenomenal addition to the Buffalo defense this season, recording 8.0 sacks, 10 tackles for loss and 11 QB hits across his first 10 games. Nobody else on the team had more than 5.0 sacks heading into Thursday's action.

If Miller's out for any extended time that would be brutal news for a Bills team that FanDuel Sportsbook's Super Bowl odds have as a +400 favorite.
