Vikings Have Extremely Easy Path to Clinching the Division in Week 15

For the past two weeks, the Minnesota Vikings have had different scenarios in which they could have clinched the NFC North. Unfortunately for them, the other teams in their division had different plans.

Even so, Minnesota still has an easy path to clinching its first division crown since 2017.

After falling to the suddenly resurgent Detroit Lions in Week 14, the Vikings have an easier matchup in Week 15 against the 4-8-1 Indianapolis Colts. All Minnesota needs is a win (or tie) at home to lock up the division, which shouldn't be too difficult given that the Vikings are 6-1 at home this season.

Minnesota technically doesn't even need a win, as the Vikings can still clinch if the Lions lose or tie their road matchup against the New York Jets.

An early look at FanDuel Sportsbook's Week 15 odds shows both of those scenarios extremely likely to happen. The Vikings are considered 4-point favorites over the Colts and the Lions are 1.5-point underdogs against the Jets. Minnesota is also -20000 to win the division.
