Vikings Fan Creates Hilarious Blair Walsh Custom Jersey

Updated:

Donning the jersey of your favorite player has long been a staple of fanship for any team in any sport. When the ability to make custom jerseys came along, though, the creative juices from fans began flowing. Over the years we've seen everything from a fan's own name, to funny sayings, to a play on words.

However, this Vikings fan decided to use his custom jersey as a way to poke fun at a player that caused the fanbase a lot of grief.

Back in 2016 during the NFL Playoffs in a Wild Card game against the Seattle Seahawks, Vikings kicker Blair Walsh, who was one of the league's best kickers at the time, lined up for a chip-shot field goal, a kick no one in the world expected him to miss, until he did. Wide left.

The Vikings fan's custom jersey takes this play into account and put Walsh's name on the back of a jersey, but put it waaaaaaay off-center to the left, to represent that wide left miss.

A creative, yet self-loathing move by this Vikings fan. But you do have to give him credit for making a smile out of something that once (and probably still does) represent misery.
