There was a lot of celebrating going on following the Minnesota Vikings' 24-16 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 6. While Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki made headlines for busting out his terrible version of the Griddy, the Vikings made waves with an unhinged celebration.
Vikings cornerback Patrick Peterson came up with a crucial interception during the fourth quarter that helped Minnesota seal the deal. As a result, the Vikings' defenders trotted to the end zone, putting together one of the wildest group celebrations.
It was truly a sight to behold and words do it very little justice. Fortunately, the NFL uploaded a clip of it to its Twitter page, which you can see below.
There are just too many hilarious moments to pick out. Brian Asamoah II can be seen giving CPR to one of his teammates, while third-year Cameron Dantzler waddled like a penguin (followed by others doing the same), which was potentially a shot at Dolphins wideout Jaylen Waddle.
That's not even to mention the Vikings players who were just sitting down as others seemingly did their best improv dances around them. Meanwhile, others had more stoic celebrations, including CB Andrew Booth Jr., who looks to have thrown up an n.W.o. 'Too Sweet' hand sign for wrestling fans.
Celebrations are always one of the most fun parts of NFL games as it gives players a chance to express their personalities. Time will tell if the Vikings have more celebrating to do when they face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8 following the former's Week 7 bye.
