The entire football world now knows who Tua Tagovailoa is, but during the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship game against the Georgia Bulldogs, few did. He was a big-time recruit who had not yet been given a chance to show off his talents.

That is until Jalen Hurts and the Alabama Crimson Tide struggled in the first half and Nick Saban decided to make a change at QB for the second half. Tua came in, helped bring the team back, force overtime and the rest is history.

It was both a huge mistake on Georgia's secondary and a perfectly placed ball from Tua. From that game on Tua never surrendered the starting job again. Now in 2020, both he and Jalen Hurts are settling into their new teams, in the NFL.
