VIDEO: Remembering When Troy Polamalu Jumped Over the Offensive Line to Make an Incredible Play Against the Titans

Updated:

Troy Polamalu was made a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer in February, and that didn't surprise many Pittsburgh Steelers fans. They got a first-hand glimpse at how dominant he was over 12 seasons in Pittsburgh.

Above everything else, Polamalu's knack for seeming to read the offense's mind to make astonishing plays always stood out, like when the Tennessee Titans tried to run a quarterback sneak from the 1-yard line.

Talk about perfect timing. Polamalu anticipated the snap count perfectly, showed incredible athleticism by jumping over the entire offensive line, and pulled down Titans QB Kerry Collins for a loss of yards.

Polamalu leapt over a few offensive lines over his career, but this was probably the most impressive instance, as everything worked absolutely perfectly.

In continuing with the tradition that has been established through the history of the Pittsburgh franchise, the Steelers also look like they'll boast one of the NFL's top defenses in 2020.
