VIDEO: Bryce Harper-'Moneyball' Mash-Up Will Give Phillies Fans Chills

The Philadelphia Phillies' movie-like season somehow got even better on Sunday. Superstar Bryce Harper stepped up to the plate with his team down in the bottom of the eighth and crushed a two-run blast to left field, putting Philadelphia ahead for good and helping send them to the World Series.

Harper's clutch moment was something out of Hollywood, which is why one Phillies fan decided to create a mash-up of his homer and the famous scene from "Moneyball."

This video should give any sports fan chills. Harper's NLCS-clinching HR -- and the reaction from everyone at Citizens Bak Park -- was already an amazing moment, but adding the emotional "Moneyball" score puts this clip over the top.

The Phillies' 2022 campaign could not have been scripted any better. Many thought this team was dead in the water after early struggles and injuries to key players, yet they rallied down the stretch to secure a Wild Card spot. Then they proceeded to knock off the 3-seed St. Louis Cardinals and defending champion Atlanta Braves before easily handling the San Diego Padres in five games.

Philadelphia will look to conclude this story with a happy ending in the World Series. FanDuel Sportsbook's MLB odds peg the Phillies as +150 underdogs against the Houston Astros (-180).
