Tyreek Hill Shares Another Hilarious Wheelbarrow Quote to Describe Dolphins' Early Successes

Updated:

Life is good for Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins. Miami pulled off a miraculous comeback victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday despite trailing 35-21 in the fourth quarter. The team moved to 2-0 on the young season with their second win over an AFC opponent.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and his star wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle were at the center of it. The trio combined for 22 receptions, 361 receiving yards and 4 of Tua's 6 TD passes.

Hill caught up with reporter Kimberley Martin on the field, and summed up the team's early successes with another hilarious quote involving wheelbarrows.

Dolphins Week 2 Comeback

"Not only is Coach McDaniel going to need a wheelbarrow, Tua gonna need a wheelbarrow after the season to tote his money, his boatload of money and also his cojones," said Hill.

That wasn't the only gem of the interview. Martin led off the interview with a question about Tua's 6 TD passes and Hill's reaction was perfect. He clearly didn't realize his young quarterback ended up with six on the day and exclaimed "Oh my god, that's lit bro!" upon hearing the impressive stat line.

Hill's wheelbarrow analogy first appeared after the Dolphins' Week 1 win over their bitter rival New England Patriots. When asked about a particularly gusty play call from head coach Mike McDaniel in the second quarter of that win, Hill said "McDaniel’s gonna need a wheelbarrow for his ***** to carry them around."

It may not be the most work-friendly analogy, but certainly gets the point across.

An early 2-0 start sees the betting markets beginning to take the Dolphins more seriously as a contender. Miami opened the season with just the 18th-best odds (+4000) to win Super Bowl LVII. That figure has already improved to +2300 and ranks 12th amongst all NFL teams, according to Super Bowl LVII odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
