Twins vs Guardians Prediction & Pick

The Twins are sending Bailey Ober to the mound for tonight's start. The 27-year-old righty has been solid in his limited work this season, going 1-0 with a 1.59 ERA while allowing just 5.6 hits per nine innings in two starts. It's a small sample size, though, so it'll be interesting to see if he keeps the ball rolling.

On the other side, Cleveland starter Peyton Battenfield is searching for his first MLB win. The former Oklahoma State product is 0-2 through four appearances (three starts), pitching to a 4.67 ERA while allowing 1.6 home runs and 5.7 walks per 9 IP. He looked awful in his last showing, giving up three runs on as many hits with four walks over just two innings.

The Guardians are playing uninspiring baseball lately and the fact that they're just 4-8 at home can't be ignored. With the Twins also having the pitching advantage due to Ober's solid play, I see them winning for the second time in as many nights.

Final Score Prediction: Twins: 5 | Guardians: 2

Twins vs Guardians Best Bet

As for the game's best bet, I'm going with the Twins outright on the moneyline. There's decent value at -126 on the moneyline and I just can't see them losing to the Guardians, who are 5-11 in their previous 16 outings. Taking Cleveland's home struggles into account, this is clearly Minnesota's game to lose.

Bet: Twins to Win Outright (-126)
