Race 12 is the $700,000 Grade 3 Jeff Ruby Steaks for 3-year-olds at 1 1/8 miles on the All Weather Track. This Kentucky Derby Championship Series race awards the top-5 finishers qualifying points (50-20-15-10-5) for the May 6 Run for the Roses at Churchill Downs. The numberFire data picks Major Dude (5/2) and Two Phil's (7/2) as the top win choices. As noted on the Jeff Ruby Steaks preview on FanDuel, this race has higher payoff potential with those top two choices top win contenders along with Maker's Candy (15/1) and Wadsworth (8/1), according to Horse Racing Nation. Congruent (5/1) is a son of Tapit who won here three weeks ago with a 100 speed figure on the synthetic surface. And Event Detail (15/1) broke his maiden at this track but ran poorly in the Rebel Stakes.
